Notts County's ESC dealings, GBE January impact, AFCON U17 info and Israel Ligat Ha'Al in focus - GBE Pro Bulletin #10

After a couple of weeks of looking into Scotland in depth, links below if you missed them, I am back doing a bulletin for you on a few topics that I think are of interest for you in the GBE sector.
We are now into April, which means that planning is kicking into a new gear for the summer window. I know from my experience with recruitment departments that this is the time of year where lists are (hopefully) getting shorter, meetings are arranged with key decision makers, relationships with agents are being leveraged and conversations are happening about potential deals.
Indeed, Notts County have decided that, with only seven matches left of their regular season, they can get in and use an ESC slot on a very short term deal until the summer window.
We will also use this bulletin to assess some January GBE business and see who made good use of their winter window.
Also, we are already some way through the AFCON U17 tournament, and with scouts out there posting about some of the great talents on show in Morocco I thought it would be worthwhile discussing some of the rules around bringing players from that tournament directly to the UK.
Finally, we are focusing on the Israeli league in our League in Focus section. Why? I will tell you the reason for that below…
