The messing around of the transfer window to allow the Club World Cup teams to bolster their squads before the tournament has now come to an end, and we have seen some domestic clubs add to their numbers in this little period.

One of the forwards who made it into our Bext XI (it’s actually 13 but who is counting?) was an 18 year old. Hopefully that turned some heads of the people who read the piece, though it was the very bottom of the article, and who ever reads that far eh?

I should also state at this point that Dadi Berg Jonsson is not my baby, he is squarely

‘s baby. Craig, our Head of Scouting at The GBE Expert Hub, found Jonsson, and he is the one who produced this report. My data system backed Craig up massively, and now he is a player who we are very invested in his future.

We are not suggesting he is a world beater, but, there are a lot of positives in his profile which suggests that there could and should be a club out there for him, either in Scotland or the EFL, that would get a positive outcome from taking a risk on him sooner rather than later.

We present Craig’s report here, and a data chart which illustrates some of the positivity that we feel about Jonsson, especially off the back of seemingly successful transfers from Iceland in Svanthorsson and Andresson.
