Žan Bešir is a versatile player who’s data implies that he could play in a number of positions across midfield. His data seems to make him best set to a more defensive role, but if deployed further forward then he can use his running to disrupt an opposition defence.
In the match that our scout Sam Hutchinson observed, Besir was not as much a defensive influence as his data would suggest. This is a great observation, but indicates to us that he will need repeat viewing before a clear conclusion can be derived.
Bešir appears to be out-of-contract at the end of the season, so clubs will have to move quickly on him.
