In Norway, the snow is very much falling. “Winter is coming” no…it has already arrived. As far as the countrys national football league is concerned, some cool heads and temperements will have to match the external temperatures.
The Eliteserien has reached the point where champions will soon be hailed, the table has well and truly declared that only two teams remain in contention,and, one long boat has already sunk.
No room for romanticism here.
An extremely close, two-horse race, has opened up at the top, european adventures await some and the middle of the table is full of teams playing to varying philosophies and riddled with inconsistencies. The basement? It looks, well, unloved and out of any concept of design.
