Belgian LB who can also play centrally, consistent performances and good physicality could provide a solution to a few Championship defences

We are entering the final knockings of the Summer 2025 transfer window and at this stage it is fairly unusual for clubs to be turning their attentions to totally new targets.

We present a player who we initially scouted a number of months ago, but is a standout option now given that he hasn’t yet moved, and his age (22) tells me that this is an opportune time to spring him from Westerlo.

Rommens is a clear GBE Pass player, so any UK club can go for him, regardless of ESC slots. Should they go for him? Well he has plenty going for him, Rommens has played a remarkable 95% of available minutes over the last 12 months, so Westerlo obviously totally trust him as a first team player.

Our report comes from

James Doolan - Balkan Angle
, but we need to bear in mind that this is one report from one match and only provides a snapshot of their performance in that game.

Our data likes him, he is linked to some good clubs like Feyenoord, but he would be well within range of a good Championship club looking for a left-back or left centre-back.
