Big money, big players, but now a GBE Band 3 League, what will happen in Türkiye this year?

This week marks the return of top flight football in Turkiye, a league known for being a hotbed of past their prime former European stars, a lot of bookings and every now and then some fairly good football teams going on a decent run in the UEFA competitions.

After a summer of GBE shuffling, the Super Lig now finds itself in Band 3, reducing the likelihood of any stars making the move to England without some continental or international experience, but that doesn’t by any means make it a futile exercise to keep one eye on it for potential gems
