2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup - Wikipedia

The ESC (Elite Significant Contribution) procedure was brought in by The FA in 2023 in part for recruitment teams to look at young players from around the globe and potentially be able to bring them to their clubs.

The U20 World Cup is clearly a great stage for players from any qualifying nation to stand up, perform well, and, potentially, get a move that kickstarts their football career. Many, of course, are already well established in their careers, but they also have the opportunity to showcase their talents and hopefully lead their country to glory.
