In a similar way to recruitment teams all over the country, I have had time to take stock of all of the moving and shaking over the transfer window in the English mens’ leagues.
The second tier in Belgium is a Band 6 league, but here we focus on a player who is playing for a club who were recently relegated from the top tier, so, therefore, have a lot of players who qualify for ESC via their time at the club last season.
David Sousa is a Brazilian central defender in the traditional mould. He is a colossus who will defend his box, but he will not pierce passes through the midfield into your forward players.
He is only 23 at the time of writing, and, interestingly, Luton Town signed his younger partner in central defence, Christ Makosso, in the January transfer window.
