Kicking off EFL League Two week with a player report of a potentially free central midfielder in the Slovakian league

The idea of EFL League Two week is to put together some theories as to what League Two clubs could potentially do in the GBE/ESC market.

This week’s bulletin piece will focus on EFL League Two and break down in more detail what ideas we have for the fourth tier in England to use foreign recruitment.

One such potential deal that ambitious League Two clubs could seek would be someone like Samuel Lavrincik from Slovakia. He is, currently, available on a free in the summer, but he shows up as an outstanding deep-lying playmaker in the Slovakian top tier. Lavrincik gets an ESC because of his participation in UEFA qualification matches at the beginning of the season.

Though it could take some convincing as a project, the finances and the ability of the player are definitely possible for a top League Two club with ambition to play in League One in 2026.
