Oumar Diouf: From Belgium's second tier to a big move?

As a follow-up to Will Daniels’ excellent piece on the Belgium recruitment scene published on Friday, we have decided to put out this detailed report on a player who has stepped up from the Challenger Pro League into the top tier of Belgian football with Sint-Truiden.

Oumar Diouf has already had a kind of nomadic existence as a footballer, moving from his native Senegal to Rizespor in 2023, then on a free to Cyprus, and then on a free to Luttich in the Challenger Pro League, from which Sint-Truiden have recognised something in him to pay a fee for in January.
