Kristijan Tojčić (1999) - CB - Nafta (Slovenia, Band 5) - Contract Expiry: 2025
A free central defender who has characterists of aerial dominance?
We know from our experience and research that League Two clubs are generally unlikely to be able to spend a fee on a new player.
It can happen, and there are clubs who will do it, but history suggests that over 90% of League Two deals are out-of-contract arrangements and loan moves.
Therefore, we present here a player who is out-of-contract, is 25, so no training compensation would be required, and who ranks well as a stopper in the top division of Slovenia. According to our references, his basic wage is less than average in League Two, and he is eligible for an ESC to get a work permit for England.
Our own James Doolan watched him in action and produced this report. Again, there is the bonus of extra data that covers the whole of the Slovenian Prva Liga for those who take the time to read the report. Remember, that all Band 5 players are eligible for an ESC as long as they have played five domestic matches in the reference period.
The next two days of League Two Week are going to be really special, with a unique in-depth report on League Two and the markets that League Two clubs could look at if they were ready to access the market.
