GBE Summer Bulletin: The EFL completed transfers

An analysis of all of the GBE/ESC transfers made this summer in the Championship, League One, and League Two

Time for an old-school GBE bulletin.

Those of you with longer term memberships will know that transfer windows contain these bulletins where we run through all of the done deals that involve players who require GBE or ESC work permits.

The Premier League, Scottish, and Women's Game updates are to follow, but today we focus on all matters EFL.

Many will just be listed as facts, any with an interesting sub-plot will be expanded upon.

EFL Championship

The Championship is always the hotbed of ESC transfers.

The number of slots available for clubs in the second tier remained at four for this season, so we are expecting more shopping at this level.

Albeit the change of ESC rules allowing only U23 players into the country will have caused chaos just before the window opened, recruitment teams have had to adapt to this quickly.

The loans turned permanent

These ones aren't that exciting, but still require mentioning as GBE as new deals/contracts.

Many of these will now pass GBE because of their minutes played in the Championship last term.

Cyle Larin (ST) — [Mallorca → Southampton] - 3m Euro - GBE autopass

Milan Smit (ST) - [Go Ahead Eagles - Stoke] - 5.5m Euro - GBE pass

Leo Walta (AM) — [Sirius → Swansea] - 3.4m Euro - GBE pass

Keiber Lamadrid (LW) — [Deportivo La Guaira → West Ham] - 1.15m Euro - ESC slot used
