Who has used ESC slots and who found GBE stars: GBE Bulletin #16

Only a few weeks of the player registration window to go here in the UK, and I wonder whether we will now see a slow down in volume of transfers being made.

I have worked across a number of windows now, but I have never actually tracked the rate of transfers coming through a window and how that shifts over time, but with all of the EFL, and all Scottish football now back in league play, and the Premier League next week, focus begins to shift to on-pitch issues.

Of course, some of those on-pitch issues might require rectifying in the window, and you won’t find a single head coach saying “We don’t need any more help thank you, I am happy with what we have”.

We start this bulletin with a recap of the GBE/ESC deals that have gone through since the last bulletin, however some of the most recent will be missing as “parenting life in the summer holidays” took over. We will catch up in bulletin #17 and #18, and then over the summer we will have covered every GBE & ESC signing in England and Scotland.

As always, most of the deals will just be reported as they are with the work permit method, only on deals that generate some kind of interest will there be additional comment made.
