We ended the September update by drawing attention to the biggest game in October. The biggest game of the season to date. Feyenoord hosting PSV. Therefore it feels natural to begin our October recap in Rotterdam, on the 26th.
In a game where both teams evidenced why they are the stand out teams of the division, PSV claimed a crucial 3-2 away victory in back and forth match with Ismael Saibari scoring a hat-trick. Saibari gave PSV a half-time lead, scoring in the 30th minute. Luciano Valente equalised for Feyenoord in the 50th minute only for Saibari to respond with his second goal a minute later. He completed his treble in the 60th minute. Oussama Targhalline made it 3-2 with plenty of time left on the clock, but PSV withheld late Feyenoord pressure to take the win needed to level things up with Feyenoord in the league points tally.
