With the exception of AZ Alkmaar, Feyenoord, Fortuna Sittard and PEC Zwolle the rest of the Eredvisie have played 4 matches. The Dutch authorities permitted AZ and Feyenoord to postpone their matches with Fortuna and Zwolle in order to allow greater preparation time for their continental qualifiers.
