How else could we begin a recap of the Primeira Liga than the return of Jose Mourinho. The special one has returned to Benfica after 25 years away, following the sacking of Bruno Lage after Benfica’s shocking 2-3 loss (from 2-0 up) to Azerbaijani side Qarabag in the first match of their Champions League campaign. It wasn’t a dream return to the Estadio da Luz for Jose though, as his side squandered a 1-0 lead in injury time to draw with Rio Ave.
